So this story is too much fun not to share! So our hayfield is currently home to about 10 horses temporarily. And this was our first session out there with the horses. At first, they just moved to the other side of the field and kept away from us. But then, all of a sudden they appeared out of nowhere! Who knew horses were so stealth! Within moments, we were completely surrounded by a heard of horses checking everything out…the family, Kristen (my lighting assistant), my equipment, etc. They were everywhere and right up on us! I got a couple of shots off before they were gone again..just as quickly as they showed up. But this one describes the CRAZY, RATHER OVERWHELMING MOMENT PERFECTLY!!
